A Different Approach to Mental Health and Brain Performance
Tactical Mind Solutions is not a conventional mental health clinic.
We are Veteran physicians who combine medical care, psychotherapy, ketamine-assisted treatment, neuromodulation, nervous system regulation, and cognitive performance strategies into individualized treatment plans.
Rather than relying on a single modality, we evaluate the whole person—symptoms, trauma history, physiology, cognition, sleep, occupational demands, and treatment response—to determine which combination of approaches may be most useful.
Our clinical work is informed by ongoing research conducted in collaboration with Tactical Mind Research Coalition, our nonprofit research organization. This allows us to evaluate emerging approaches carefully while maintaining a clear distinction between clinical care and voluntary research participation.
Our goal is not simply symptom management. It is to help people regulate more effectively, think more clearly, function more fully, and build lasting resilience.

What Makes Tactical Mind Solutions Different
You deserve a customized, innovative approach to mental wellness.
Care Designed Around the Individual
We do not use a one-size-fits-all protocol. Treatment plans are adapted to the person’s symptoms, history, goals, physiology, occupation, and response over time.
Multiple Modalities, One Coordinated Plan
We may combine medical treatment, therapy, ketamine-assisted therapy, neuromodulation, breathwork, vagus nerve stimulation, audiovisual entrainment, cognitive rehabilitation, and integration support when clinically appropriate.
Research-Informed Innovation
Our clinicians are actively involved in research evaluating new approaches to mental health, neuroplasticity, cognitive performance, and nervous system regulation. Research participation is voluntary and separate from clinical care.
Expertise in High-Demand Populations
Our background in military and Aerospace Medicine gives us particular insight into the needs of Veterans, pilots, first responders, healthcare professionals, and others working in safety-sensitive or high-performance environments.
Focus on Function, Not Just Symptoms
We evaluate more than whether symptoms improve. We also consider attention, cognitive flexibility, sleep, stress regulation, occupational functioning, relationships, resilience, and quality of life.

Our Research
Clinical Care Connected to Research
Tactical Mind Solutions collaborates with Tactical Mind Research Coalition, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research organization focused on innovative approaches to brain health, mental wellness, resilience, and cognitive performance.
Our research helps us study questions such as:
- Can preparing the brain and nervous system improve the ketamine treatment experience?
- Can brief neuromodulation improve attention, cognitive flexibility, or processing efficiency?
- Which combinations of interventions work best for different people?
- Can non-pharmacological approaches reduce symptoms or improve response to existing treatment?
Clinical care and research remain separate. Participation in research is voluntary and is never required to receive treatment.

What We Offer

Ketamine-Assisted Treatment
Medically supervised ketamine treatment for carefully screened patients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, chronic stress, or other appropriate conditions. Treatment may include preparation, monitored dosing, and structured integration.

Psychedelic Preparation and Integration
Nonjudgmental support before or after psychedelic experiences to help patients establish intentions, process insights, reduce risk, and translate the experience into meaningful behavioral change.

Neuromodulation
Noninvasive approaches using light, sound, electrical stimulation, vagus nerve stimulation, biofeedback, and other technologies to support nervous system regulation, neuroplasticity, attention, mood, and cognitive performance.

Cognitive Performance and Rehabilitation
Assessment and targeted interventions for attention, executive function, processing speed, cognitive flexibility, stress-related performance impairment, and recovery following neurological or psychological injury.

Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy and EMDR
Individualized therapy designed to help people process traumatic experiences, reduce maladaptive responses, and develop greater emotional regulation, safety, and flexibility.

Aviation and Safety-Sensitive Mental Health
Confidential, informed care for pilots and others in regulated or safety-sensitive professions. Our Aerospace Medicine background allows us to consider both clinical needs and occupational implications.

Frequently-asked
Questions
We have compiled a list of questions people commonly ask.
We understand the delicate balance of safety and treatment. We believe in giving you tools to help you before you have a “diagnosis”. Why wait? We have preventive methodologies that do not involve medication. If you do have a “diagnosis”, we understand the FAA medical certification process. We are HIMS aviation medical examiners (AMEs). Contact us – we can help you soar.
We can provide you with a superbill for insurance reimbursement. Some of our treatments are not covered by insurance due to their cutting-edge nature, but are backed by peer-reviewed studies as adjuncts to primary therapy. Spravato may be covered by your insurance directly. Contact us to learn more.
Yes. We offer ketamine injections and Spravato. We do not prescribe ketamine for home use, and our clinic only offers ketamine in conjunction with other treatment methods. Contact us to see if this treatment is right for you.
We have a multidisciplinary team who understands the challenges of psychedelic medications and entheogens, as well as the benefit they can provide. We can help you turn that into a productive therapeutic experience.
We partner with several nonprofit organizations for Veterans and pilots, including our very own 501(c)(3), Tactical Mind Research Coalition. You can be sponsored by an organization or individual. We are actively pursuing grants to support treatment and research efforts. Contact us to learn more or sponsor someone!
We tailor our treatments to each individual. We start with an intake appointment to discuss your medical history and your treatment goals. All of our individualized protocols are based on specific conditions, your comfort level, and current peer-reviewed research. We will discuss options with YOU as an active member of your wellness journey.
No. Not all who wander are lost, and you don’t need to have a “diagnosis” to benefit from our treatments. We have therapies to enhance neuroplasticity and cognitive performance. Contact us to learn how.
Your journey awaits.
